Our Burgundy 101 tasting series continues on the 25th of September. The last Saturday of each month we are devoting to Burgundy-focused tasting sessions that will include light snacks from our K11 MUSEA menu. These sessions are designed with both the beginner and experienced wine lover in mind.
Our first session covered some of Burgundy’s key villages and showcased those villages through wines from two rising stars. Then, we moved onto a session devoted to the village of Gevrey-Chambertin including some of the key producers to know in that village. For the April session, we discussed the areas in Burgundy to watch - the “edgy” areas in Burgundy. And for May, our session will be dedicated to grands crus vineyards in Burgundy. Then, with the heat of June, we are featuring white Burgundy and exploring why Chardonnay is so very special in expression when grown here. July saw the return of our earlier session on the village of Gevrey-Chambertin due to popularity. In August we featured 1er Cru Chambolle-Musigny to get to know the charm of this famous village, and will dive back into Chardonnay's best expressions coming September.
All social distancing regulations will be observed as we want you to feel safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy wines from a wine region we hold in great esteem – Burgundy.
