Visiting with the Guinaudeau family at Château Lafleur during the primeurs this year, Mike and I were treated to a taste of their white wine – Les Champs Libre. This is a round-bodied but zesty, lively, aromatic white, usually from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, and it turned out to be a highlight of the week for both of us. Mike has been busy sourcing and shipping it. I’m pretty keen to pull some corks out in the lounge and see how 4 recent vintages compare. Would you like to join me in this little exercise?
