Well this is going to be fun! And a bit different! Let’s call this something unique, and very “2020” in style….

Dr. Katharina Prüm will open four contrasting bottles of classic Mosel Riesling at home in Germany, to present and taste with you live. Linden will join live from New Zealand. And you can join from home, in Hong Kong, and taste along too. The meeting place will be here, live-streamed on Facebook, 17:30 Hong Kong time, Wednesday 29th April. 

Katharina, and her father Manfred, run one of the finest wine estates in the world – Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm, in Wehlen. When you look out of the window from the handsome stone house you see the Mosel river below, and rising up from it, the steep, almost wall-like slope of slate vineyards, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, and Graacher Himmelreich. Prüm is a leading producer of both these vineyards, in the traditional ‘fruity style’, that delivers – depending on the vintage, and the ripeness level at harvest – a range of expressions, versatile with a range of foods.

Taste along with Katharina and Linden, ask questions and shares your thoughts in this live, interactive wine tasting. We will taste the following wines:
