Bonnes-Mares位于海拔270-300米,Chambolle部分挨着Les Fuees和Les Baudes一级园的正上方,而Morey板块则是贴着特级园,Clos de Tart。土壤分上半部的Les Terres Blanches - 由泥灰岩,小型牡蛎化石组成,而土壤的下半段则是Les Terres Rouges - 巴通阶泥灰岩(40厘米厚),基岩则是培摩玫瑰石。因为板块面积大(40%大于Musigny),所以有为数23家酒庄持有这块田。Morey部分的1.52公顷,曾经由Clair-Dau家族独占,直到1985年,部分板块才出售给Jadot和Bart,而剩余的部分,则早期以佃农制出租给Fougeray de Beauclair,并于2016年归还给Bruno Clair。
Bonnes-Mares被认为是最浑厚,浓稠,结构感严谨的酒,但同时拥有terres rouges和terres blanches风土的Christophe Roumier则认为,产于terres blanches有着更优雅,更空灵的气质。
